I haven't had a period for 9 years now, but my own was always at best a distraction, and at worst a major pain.

During my menses years I found lots of men were fascinated/turned on by my period/sanitary products. Understandable cause they don't have one.

Other women's used sanitary products are a major turn on for me. I can't go into a public washroom without looking into the bin next to the toilet, hoping to find a fresh pad, or better, a freshly used tampon. I examine them, and wonder what she looked like, and what day of her cycle she was on. I even smell them sometimes if they are still moist. I have occasionally wrapped one up in toilet paper and taken it home. I don't taste them, or collect them, or usually even touch the bloody part, but they get me horny.

I used to work at a high school, and the staff were not allowed to use the student's washrooms during school hours. After school I'd go in, and the bins were full of used pads, and tampons. Teenage girls are not terribly discreet, and they were not neatly wrapped up in TP, just tossed in there. I'd always find some good ones.

I'm sure you're not the ONLY woman, but I'll bet you're in a very small minority. I doubt that would turn on many men either.

Thanks JimmyJohnson- Every man I was in any kind of longer term relationship, wanted to see me remove a tampon, remove a tampon for me, or inspect a used tampon. For men I think it's very common.

Each to their own. I sometimes get crazy horny during my period but that is a hormonal thing and not because of a menstrual fetish but there is no fetish that doesn't have a following so you're certainly not alone.

Teens indeed can be non discreet. My eldest had a gross habit of not always throwing the applicator away after telling her not to flush it and leaving it on a cabinet loosely in wrapper.

Habit soon put a stop to but certainly more grossed out by poor hygiene practice than developing an interest in menstrual products.

Please use gloves when handling someone else's products with bodily fluids on them. A microscopic cut on your finger can allow diseases to enter into your bloodstream.
