I am trying to find a double balloon nozzle. I would like a latex Balloon but I do not think they are still being made anymore. The silicone ones seem to be out of stock because of manufacturing problems overseas, plus the one silicone one I had years ago was the 750cc and to insert it was like trying to get the toothpaste back in the tube. I have a German made one that is Silkolatex double balloon, but one pump controls both balloons. The only place I see that has them is E bay and they come from Germany.

Does anyone have any info?

Most all hospitals and radiology centers use nothing but disposables these days. They eliminate Central Supply Depts. and it's safer from a disease passing standpoint. MANY hospitals use the EZM Co. for disposable BaE equipment. They can throw away the bags, hoses and nozzles after a usage. EZM makes an inexpensive single balloon nozzle, meant to be disposable. I have seen these nozzles used at St. Margret's Hosp. in Pittsburgh and know several local hospitals here that use them. I buy mine from Optimal Health Network and they last many months.

My guess is that in Europe hospitals use the Rusch double balloon nozzles and sterilize them for further use, but they are rather expensive, plus the cost of having a central supply clean and autoclave them, then send them back to radiology again.

Since I have no internal sphincter muscles anymore, I MUST use an inflatable balloon nozzle to get water up above the rectum. I have done well with the single balloon EZM nozzles. Someday, if I win the lottery, I will invest in a Rusch double balloon unit.

Regarding the double balloon silicone nozzle it looks like the Amazon customers say it all --- another silicone nozzle with a short life expectancy. I have not had this one but the 2 I have had failed after a disappointingly short life. They were also not very comfortable though they were very easy to insert. So far as I am concerned the Rusch double balloon latex one is the gold standard. A good life expectancy if you keep it away from oils, comfortable, excellent seal but pricy (around $100). Worth every penny.

Distension

I've used the Klystra design pretty extensively and never had any problems. I mean, when inflated you are putting a nozzle the size of a small orange in your butt; getting it in uninflated should be the least taxing part of the process.
