They had just spoken a few days ago, she wasn't expecting a call from him again so soon. She was always glad to talk to him though, it always made for a fun conversation.

Hey, do you remember the other day you were saying how you just needed to get away from everything for a few days? No work, no laundry, no cleaning, no responsibilities. Just a few days to relax, recharge and have some fun.

I found the perfect place. It's a cabin about 2 hours away, very secluded. Its on a lake with a small dock, we could go swimming. There's only 2 or 3 other cabins on the lake and each one is more than a mile away. No noisy neighbors to spoil the peace and quiet. We could bring some precooked meals with us and eat off of paper plates so no real cooking or clean up. We can lounge on the dock or go for a hike or just enjoy the fresh air and scenery. I thought we could leave early Friday morning and come back late Monday night. You did say you needed some R&R.
