New information - Chain Ceremony
New information - Chain Ceremony
This is to be posted in the section, Library Dominance and Submission / Information documents.
Several people have asked me about this and this is the ceremony that was used on the eve of our wedding. You can modify it to suit your needs but gives you ideas at the very least.
Chain Ceremony: (Chain can be made in the ceremony – or just prepared beforehand and held jointly during the reading)
This chain symbolizes our connection. The length bears with it our deep commitment. The four sections join to create a whole.
Part one made of steel (copper) symbolizes trust
Part two made of rose gold (bronze) symbolizes loyalty
Part three made of white gold (silver) symbolizes honor
Part four made of yellow gold (gold) symbolizes forgiveness. I ask that you notice the extended length of this chain as forgiveness is often the most difficult.
Hang these chains in an area of privacy that allows them to be used as a communication tool. In times of stress and conflict when neither the (Master/slave or Dominant/submissive) cannot communicate to bring swift resolution to the issue, allow for a time of reflection until both parties can find it within themselves to bring the topic up again. When each of you are ready to discuss the issue, take one of the chains and place it in a location that you have identified. When you both have placed a piece of the chain in this special location – open a dialogue of the issue.
Remember the trust, loyalty, honor, and forgiveness symbolized by these chains and your commitment to each other.
