Well Shawn has left . We have new nurses in my wing , and I have a new room mate already . Some "dude" that suffers from dementia and seem's to be lost and wandering all the time . Had to tell him multiple times to get away from my closet . The new Nuses went through and took things like my rescue inhaler and tried to take my tube of ointment that is needed to keep my penis from chaffing .
Just this morning I needed my rescue inhaler . It took 4 min' to get it to me and the nurse angerly told me she could hear me all the way down the hall and that I was panicking. A rescue inhaler needs to be "at hand " . I don't know what is going on ... but things are changing here and not for the better .
Norma is trying to get me into an assisted living building here in Reno , The sooner I can leave here the better . It appears that they put all the trouble makers around me as Shawn left . They moved Mark , one of the guys I met and am friends with five wings over {this is a big place} . I went to visit him yesterday and noticed all the "nice" nurses are now in his new wing . What the hell . Am I now seen as a "trouble maker? " . I have never pushed my call light button unless it was for a real "thing" I needed help with . In fact I have tried to deal with any problems on my own and not trouble the nurses if at all possible . I have always tried to be polite and as kind and thankful to the nurses as I could . Hell you and I both know a regular person wouldn't put up with 1/4 of the crap they do .
All that being said Life here is becoming hell . The nurses bring you you're meds ... some have meds that have to be asked for . They say ," I'll be right back" ... and you don't see them until the next med delivery 4 or 6 hours later . Or you can't get your wheel chair in to the rest room quick enough and have an accident . It takes ... I timed it on my phone ... 2 hours to answer the call light . And even then the nurse that came wasn't qualified . He said to help . By the time a "qualified" nurse showed up , I had gotten out of my pants and underwear, cleaned my wheelchair, cleaned myself, and was "naked" trying to get clean clothes out of my closet . By clean I mean, I had to use wet toilet paper as I had no access to any cleaning supplies ! No wash cloth ,,,, nothing ,,,,,,
Just spoke with a very nice lady from housekeeping . She told me my new room mate is known to pee on the walls and in coffee cups .
Good lord the guy needs to be in a mental facility ! And please not to let on that she told me that as doing so is angst the rules .
Sorry this is turning into a rant .

You need to ask - demand - to be moved. File a complaint! Sounds like they took your stuff away to protect your dementia roommate from getting into it and hurting himself, all at your expense. Maybe Norma can be your advocate with them cuz that’s substandard care! Hopefully, you can move to a better place
You’re complaining and frustration is totally justified!
