My continuing saga

Third night in the nursing home. I am in Alpine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Reno Nevada. The night staff ? Is a crap shoot. One night you can get the most wonderful nurse and the next an over worked "lady" that takes more thn an hour to respond. I was climbing the walls with pain.

This A.M. My night bag was emptied by a young lady who didn't understand that you have to disconnect it first. I awoke to .... holy crap !!!!!! suction, happening and not in a good way.

Staff just offered me coffee ! I don't think that's how it's done. They must like me. It's 6:30 am and I have coffee !!!!!!

I have been instructed that I am going to have a full day rehab! 5 days a week ! for the next 100 days. Holy bat crap batman I don't exercise that much "in the wild".

Are we having fun yet??? Can I get a refill on my coffee???It's 10 to 7 now I think the breakfast rush is on. There is a crazy lady in a wheelchair outside my door insisting to be fed. It seems to be 50/50 crazy and rehab people.

The ringing in my ears is horrific, but I will strive to be as polite as I can.

The housekeeping nurse just read my blog and can't stop laughing. She also offered me 'a second cup of coffee.
