Playing with lighting effects - your opinion requested
Going for a moody look to this - sort of an emergency lighting effect kind of thing. It's dark, scary and monsters are coming at you out of the dark. Let me know if you prefer the red lighting or the white and why.

"Chief of the watch, rig for red!" At night all interior lights that are needed to be on are red, so the night vision of the deck watch isn't fouled.

My husband and sons say that ... red ... is the color of ... battle lamps. It was a good answer on their part ... it shows they did not know about the ... red light district. Or so they say ... 🤨

I've always had trouble with bright lights or flashing ones.

The red looks more like I would think a situation like that would look. Most of the movies and shows that I have watched in the past use red lighting for scenes like you have. Please keep up the great work. I am enjoying your story.

The red seems more appropriate.

Slight preference for Red, but the detail in the natural light seems a tad better.

@Nurse_Phillips my source said that battle lamps are red as well as lighting in ready or staging compartments used by personnel while their eye sight adjusts. This is necessary prior going on deck to board a helicopter during night operations. This is so you don't eat a fucking rotar.
I am on my phone and I'm quoting the above.

@Nurse_Phillips there is someone I can consult regarding emergency lighting and actually there are two that I could consult. But my personal preference is the red lighting because I have seen movies such as 'Alien' or some such and the lighting is darkened and may be red. So my vote would be for the red.

@Nurse_Phillips I think that the red is more like a scary situation and I see it in the horror movies all of the time. I do know a resident alien abductee that is familiar with these situations.
