Rain

Last night it became very warm and started raining . Keep in mind this is what's called high desert . Think dry… Mountains with pine forest but dry . Valley floors that you can see unobstructed for 50 to 100 mile's . wide open country . We had snow , about three feet deep for two weeks . Now we have rain , It started last night and now all the snow is gone , The ground is water logged and the rain is flooding every thing .

Last year I had two dump trucks of 2 inch rock brought in but it has now sunk and to get to my door only a 4x4 quad will do . I just heard on the radio that ranchers are advised to move their cattle to high ground . My back five acer's are under water . Almost to the bottom strand of barbwire .

New notice over the radio they have sand and bag's but you need you're own shovel . Warning's every ten min's or so stay out of dry wash's and low ground as we are having flash floods .

I.m glad I got all my shopping done and got propane . {yes Lidia is still blond and blue eyed and sets my hart “aflutter” }

Most of the roads here are dirt or gravel , Only the Highway is paved and most of the town . I guess I had better get used to watching old movies for the next two weeks or so . With my partial paralyzed legs I can't swim .
