Springtime Enema
It was supposed to be a nice weekend so last Thursday we headed to the lake house to clean things up and get ready for the season. It had been some time since we were there and it's still good to check on things occasionally. We left late morning and got there late afternoon after making a stop for groceries. Only in retrospect did I realize that I hadn't allowed any time for a daily BM. On Friday we busied ourselves with all sorts to chores and again I hadn't made time. Eventually we got to Saturday morning and I was now feeling a a bit sluggish. It didn't take a genius to realize what the problem was nor to figure out what to do about it. Before showering I did take some time in the bathroom with my wonderful enema can and a little more than a quart of warm soapy water and relief was mine. Actually it was such a good experience that I made a full two quarts of plain warm water, which I took very slowly and savored every moment. After holding it all for nearly 10 minutes, still more relief came my way. It was a simple solution that surely worked.
