What? So soon?
Yes I know, this breaks my once a year policy of posting here. But shit happens and sometimes its best I vent here. I've been told that sometimes I can be abrasive when I become disturb about stupid things. Yes I know, I've heard it before. But things just turn to shit around the holidays. So many people just trying to get by and make it nice and others who do their damnedest to make it shit for everyone else.
I am completely over drama queens and drama llamas. Don't try to gain support from me while whining about how everything is unfair towards you. Right now you should know…. I don't care. Taking to long to check out and you are behind me whining about how long it takes or commenting on how much stuff I have in my cart? You get what you deserve.
People that think I should give them something for nothing? Look I'll offer you a job to do simple tasks like clean my yard or wash my cars and I will pay you fair. I actually offered it to a guy at a corner. He said no, but he needed money. I told him work for it and you'll get more. He wasn't interested. Then spit on my car as I drove away. I went through dunkin doughnuts and bought coffee and swung by him again. I lowered my window and handed him the coffee, it was cold yesterday and told him my offer still stood for work. He again refused. So I left.
Later made the same offer to another guy and he refused to consider it. These panhandlers have a strong union it looks like.
Anyway.
Making regular trips between Chicago, Seattle, and Dallas as work semi ramps up heading towards Spring. It is good to get out and I don't fly commercial at all these days which makes it so much more comfortable..Yes I'm spoiled.
Upside, I grabbed some tree tags for those less fortunate and my niece and I spent the day shopping for clothes and toys and games and life things. It really makes me remember how it was buy stuff for my niece and nephew when they were kids. But I'm dealing with a whole new set of styles and craziness. But it was fun. We returned to the pick up location with a trunk full of bags which we carefully tagged with each child's code to make sure nothing got lost.
The my niece and I grabbed late afternoon lunch or dinner, whatever, and a couple of drinks and had a good time.
Sorry there is nothing vengeful or lustful today. Just me droning on about life locally. Life isn't fair but if you let that rule your attitude then you will be miserable. Try and make somebody smile or laugh today and you will feel much better about things… I promise.
Later all
Faith

How nice that you offered money for work, seriously. Sad they would refuse. Frustrating as well. Reminded me of a story. Hope you don’t mind some humor. A down and out fellow knocked on the door of a wealthy man asking for a hand out. No, absolutely not. I worked for what I have. I will feed you and pay you if you earn it. The poor fellow agreed l, I will work. Ok, go to back of house you will find paint and brush. Paint my porch. Ok sir. Later, the man knocked on the door. Mister, I’m finished. But I need to tell you something. Yes? That car is not a Porsche, it’s a Mercedes.
