When I met my now husband, I knew of his love for golf and how I was destined to be a golf widow on the weekends. As he has aged, he has now had a few injuries, and he has somehow developed a desire to slow down and play the game instead of having to complete every round. So enters me.

Last year during the Covid lockdown, he was really desperate, and I mean REALLY, so he asked me. We started off slow, took small steps but he was patient. Some new clubs, encouraged me, it was actually fun for the both of us, made some fun bets to make it all interesting. The other evening he was watching a golf show where they were interviewing a lady golfer, she was a bit hefty and her assets were to match. Then he opened his big mouth “If she didn’t have those tits she might be able to play golf”
