OK seeing my title got any confused lastime i will re-word this one !

Ok it happend here in chicago finaly , our first significant snowfall of the year. matter of fact as i write this it is still falling.

Now this was not a major storm by chicago standards for sure, but whenever we get around 4-6 inches it's a disaster for the roads.

QHile listeing last nite to the police scanner and playing on the puter, i heard of numerous accidnets and rollovers around my area. It always suprises me how people just forget how to drive in snow every year even though it happens every year ,here in chicago!!!

I mean come on here people snow=slippery roads (meaning slow down take it easy dont slam on brakes and dont think becuase you hyave 4 wheel drive you have 4 wheel drive brakes !!!! NOPE does not work that way.

I guess this is not a rant but at the same time is. It is mainly to say people up north it snows and we all know this since we have been children. So dont be suprised at that it did and dont forget how t drive in it when it happens, because your only making things worse by going out if your afraid to drive in it.

If it scares you get someone else to drive or stay home and leave it to us who remember how to drive in it.
