Well I Guess I Did OK

For some time the owner of the bar I work in has been asked why he never had any shirts for his place of business, so he orderd some teeshirts which sold out rather quickly. A second order brought in more short sleeves, some long sleeves and tank tops, all which again sold well except the tanks. All the girls who work here took the tanks and starting wearing them to work but then again they are young and most have the figure to do so, Being 25 years older than most of them, I thought better of myself.

I brought one home, tried it on with a sports bra, showed my husband and he said I looked fantastic and to go for it, WELL!!! So this morning I put it on, with a pair of black shorts, decided to wear my bright red lipstick and my black librarian glasses and off I went. The cook opened the back door, gave me a nice compliment and I was on my way, we filled the ice bins, loaded the beer coolers, checked out the drink guns and I set the TV’s the best I could so everyone has sports, so no news, Judge Judy, but one TV can be set to the Weather Channel.

My 4 regulars showed up when the doors opened and again the complimented me but heavy rains kept away my lunch crowd but some construction workers came in a ordered buckets of beer so that helped. The owner came in about 1, had a huge smile on his face, talked a while but the bar was busy and stayed so the rest of they day and I was more than pleased at the end of the day there was a very nice full tip jar. My husband came in about 5, the rains had stopped and the place was still full .had this look on his face with the cat that was going to pounce one the canary. And when I got home he did just that.

I guess an old 51 year old granny can pull something like that off, sure boasted my confidence.
