The last time I saw B she told me it was not a question of if she would catch C, but only when. The people in ER were dropping like flies, even with all the protection but the cases were overwhelming them. Well when happened a week ago last Wednesday, she finished her shift on Tuesday, the following afternoon she had all the symptoms. Friday she tested positive, her case was mild thank heavens, the woman next door got her some groceries, the clowns across the street brought her two “Mucho Grande” margaritas, one for now, one for later. Keeping her well lubed I guess. She needs to test negative 2 times before she can return to work, going in tomorrow to be tested.
We had 2 bedrooms upstairs that looked like they were 20 year old rooms from Motel 6, yes they were that bad. So new paint samples, grey for one, light yellow for the other. While Lowe’s is mixing the paint, 2 new Hunter fans and light fixtures which we put up, they worked and we never burnt the house down. Hired a guy to paint both bedrooms, then off to Kohls, Home Goods and TJMax. Found me a new career in home design.
Decided to go thru the furniture while putting it back, couple of drawers was left was from his first wife. Found a very interesting apron, black with a very deep purple, a bit sinister I might add, so let’s have some fun with it. Stripped off, put on a garter belt, fishnets and heels, the apron and walked into the room. Ole boy just about shit as the look on his face was priceless.
Simple Thanksgiving, just Mom and Dad and his brother and wife. Could not ask for a better time with most of the most wonder people, the stories they shared. Was going to be a nice day before the bad weather comes in to stay so we decided to make the most of it. Had breakfast, hit the shower then he told me I needed a haircut, you have talked this shit before, well?? To be honest 15 minutes later I found out he had backed up his talk with his actions. He wanted me to wear my wild yoga pants, got to the driving range, was already very busy so took 2 tees on the very end, but sometimes those are the very best if one is working on their game. Been working on my grip and swing, now hitting the ball straight but have lost some distance, happy about that. Hubby still kills the ball, always has, always will but when he hits a bad shot, it is Bad.
Was a day about 60, Sunny, no wind stopped on the way home for beers and wings outside, they cannot serve inside due to C. We really enjoyed. Think we both have had a good Thanksgiving.
