Yes, it is time to let go. Unfortunately, my company turned a temporary furlough into a lay-off.
No need to panic, it's under control. I'm aerodynamic and ready to roll. I'm going to turn it into the early retirement I'd planned on but a few years earlier. My financial guy (yes, it seems crazy to me that I'd have a financial guy, too) says I'm set if I don't want to work my last remaining 10 years until normal retirement. It would have been unfathomable to me five years ago but my 401k has skyrocketed. Since I was layed off, I can snag money out of it if needed without penalties. Just ordinary taxes.
To that end, I'm working on more books. Oddly enough, it is keeping me from Zity more than I thought. How odd!
At any rate, I published another book. I'm up to 26 distinct books now and two series combined into a boxed set.
It still isn't retirement income yet. I don't make in a month what I used to earn in an hour but it keeps me busy.
Anyone else lost their job due to twisted twenty?
