what week so far. I received 2 injections in my right to help retard the bleeding I have, this was Monday. On Tuesday it was cataract surgery; vision was 20/200 in that eye. Twenty-four hours later I had my first followup and eye at 20/70 and I can't wait for new glasses,
The actual operation was interesting; check-in, temp check, yes the pass by the forehead method and wait; then finally taken back to a nice recliner. Here the nurse checked the list of meds I was on, I carry a copy of all my meds at all times, then took my temp again, same way, blood pressure, pulse and blood ox. Then came my 3rd needle in 2 days, an IV line for the gas passer. So another twenty minute wait and the medical team comes by to check and off to the operating room we go. I climb up onto the table, my head is placed into a vice and secured. Anestologist, Hell I can't spell, injects me with something and the start. My eyes are wide open and I can here the team discussing the surgeons daughter career and college plans. Ten minutes later done, plastic shield placed over eye, 10 minutes later I am allowed to be driven home by Julia. Really an easy procedure and still no pain 36 hours later. The only pain is the 3 different eye drops, four times a day for 28 days.
