I'm pissed. Amazon blocked a book I recently published. The paperback never made it to the public but the ebook sold at least one copy in the 36 hours it was live and it was read at least twice by the page count they are reporting.
The maddening part is they won't tell me why they blocked it other than it violated the terms of content, which has many possible places but I can't see where I've violated any of them.
I've gone back and forth with them for 3 days without so much as a hint about what I need to correct.
To add insult to injury, is is stuck at the top of my author/publisher bookshelf in a state that can't be removed, edited or republished in any way.
I'm moving to Smashwords if my test publishing this latest book goes well.
I know my earnings on Amazon are a rounding error to several decimal places but it is their heavy handed approach and the treatment of the people who produce the content they sell that irks me.
Anyone else have raw dealings with Amazon?
