Hi y'all. I'm sorry to have been away for so long.
Hubby's shoulder has totally recovered from the surgery, and is completely pain free and he has very good motility in it. The medical/surgical miseries of the last few years are behind us. Dan has his aviation medical certificate back, and our flying business, though small, is profitable and enjoyable. Life is good again!
Remember the two tuxedo kittens we adopted? We had to re-home the male. He just wouldn't get along. As he grew to adulthood he picked on the little female more and more. He became a source of stress rather than of comfort to our family. We were fortunate to find him a good home where he is the only pet and they say he is doing very well there. Meanwhile we were visited by a hungry stray mama cat and her three kittens, and were able to find homes for mama and two of the kittens, and we adopted the little female into our home. She has grown to adulthood now, is as sweet as can be. She gets along wonderfully with our other female. They sleep in purry little kitty-balls, curled up on our bed! Kitties are so cool.
Our lives are now bathed in this great sigh of relief that the storm of misery we went through is finally past, and our lives have returned to normalcy. That is, if you consider having enema-fetishes normalcy! I even posted one of my enema-an-hour indulgences recently.
Did the period of misery leave behind PTSD? Sure it did, but we are healing even that.
I really will try to show up here on Zity more often. I've missed y'all!
