Recovering from surgery
at last i had my knee replacementon 4 25. im walking with a cane reasonably well and driving. going to therapy 3 times a week and feel halfdead when i come home. but its all worth it. im glad i did it. and will be much easier to straddle my partner lol. getting this done has not taken away my sexual desire. just wants to make me work harder to heal quickly and get back to my life.

Glad to hear of another successful knee replacement. I’m going to have my left knee done in January. . My wife has also had a successful knee replacement and did quite well pre-surgery with strengthening her leg muscles as much as possible and post surgery which Tai Chi. Her prescribed therapist told her that those too regimes did more for her than the prescribed physical therapy.

My sister had a knee replacement in her mid sixties. Tough recovery - bad reaction to pain meds resulted in a lot of pain. Worked through it and she was back up on skis within a year. Couldn’t ski the five years prior due to her knee. Might do the other knee next year. You have a lot to look forward to once healed and rehabbed!!

I had mine replaced Nov 2017. Did rehab and 1 year later was declared perfect. I still go to gym though. Good luck and do get back to your “likes”.FEPHP
