Took a little over 2 quarts of plain water this morning using my new Mikacare enema tubing replacement kit from Amazon. It took 5-6 minutes to take on the water and I held it for another 15 minutes. While taking on water, I lay on my back and raised my hips off the floor in sort of a yoga bridge pose. This helped me counteract the urge to expel and kept the nozzle in my anus hands free. Somewhat more urgency to expel than last time, but after taking the 2+ quarts,I lay on my stomach with penis down between my legs, I was able to hold it by rhythmically pushing against the floor (humping the floor) and squeezing my cheeks.
One of the drawbacks of the Mikacare nozzle that I am now using is that it tends to slip out if not held in place in contrast to the Klyster nozzle that I had been using. On the positive side, however, I no longer have swollen hemorrhoids when taking an enema.
While expelling I don't like to hold my penis in the toilet even though the process of expelling is often accompanied by release of urine. In the past I have I have used a male urine guard (sort of like an absorbent condom) to catch any leakage. Today, however, I tried out a new Cunningham clamp. It prevented leakage except when my bladder contracted forcing urine out. I then tightened the clamp and had no further problem. Some burning sensation in the urethra when bladder contracted trying to force urine past clamp.
