I meant to place an incremented automatic maximum bid at $140 for a pair of stirrups on eBay, but I accidentally set it at $14,000. Lol
Thankfully, I won them for $100.
A few days later, I received a pair of miss-matched foot stirrups at a UPS store.
You would think that I would be pissed, but I wasn't. The reason I wasn't was because I figured out how easy it was for the seller to make the mistake.
What had happened was he was selling two different models of foot stirrups on eBay at the same time and he accidentally put part of someone else's order in with mine (and Visa-versa).
I contacted the seller, who by that time had received a complaint from another buyer with the same problem that I had. He told me he would resolve the problem one way or another.
A few days later, the seller told me that he got ahold of a matching stirrup for me and that he would send it right away.
A few days later, I received the matching stirrup at a UPS store.
Now, I have a couple of matching stirrups plus one other type.
The seller thanked me for my patience. He is now stuck with trying to sell one foot stirrup.
