Triggered
Enemas have become routine for me due to colon issues that began several years ago. I have four enema bags I use in rotation for my enemas. Every month I change bags for both variety and wear and tear. This past Friday my Klystra red classic rubber bag came up in the rotation. The other four-quart bags I use are a Seeking Health silicone bag, a Sherma style thick black rubber one and a Klystra silicone bag that is yellowing.
I have several hoses to use with my bags as well. Three silicone ones and a latex one. I paired the red bag with the latex tubing this time. I figure that I may get a few more months of use out of it before it needs to be replaced.
The first enema of the month went so-so. A bit of leaking initially once the FR30 Foley tube was fully inserted. I filled and paused three times over six or so minutes to drain the 2.5qts of soap solution into my colon. Results were average.
With summer temperatures the norm now I hang the enema bag and hose to dry and air out from the IV pole that stays in a corner of the bedroom. In winter months I leave the enema equipment in the tiny bathroom to dry.
Later in the day, as I walked through the bedroom, I glanced at the hanging enema bag. The red rubber open top classic shape, plus the looped latex tubing, arrested my attention. I suddenly felt like a child again, it was such a evocative image.
The other enema bags do not have this visceral power. Still nice to look at, but at heart, merely functional. This red bag carried emotional freight as well as utility. I had to masturbate at the earliest opportunity. This is going to be an exciting month of enemas!
The odd part of this is that during my enema imprinting years we did not have a red enema bag, mom used her latex douche bag for my enemas. It wasn't until my mid twenties that I bought an open top rubber enema bag.
