I can't say my childhood was any different from anyone else's. To me I was always just , well me. I grew up in a family with dad , mum, older brother and sister. As I write tis is does strike me that my older sister by two years became diabetic when I was about three. Perhaps my parents then gave her much more attention, In my early years I do remember sleeping in a cot, then it was a cot-bed in a room I shared with my sister. We were always closer than my brother who was in fact a twin to my sister many thought I was the twin to my sister as we were rarely apart.
After we moved home when I was around ten everything changed I guess my sister was getting older and made new friends with girls at school. I on the other hand never really did from that point on I was always a bit of a loner. Spending hours on my bike getting to know the new neighbourhood, I had friends I went to school with I know some hid behind me as I was quite a good fighter and also an unknown quantity. I never let anyone get close to me I think I was afraid to loose them if we moved home again.
