Its Autumn Already......
Well I havnt had time to update the blog for a month. Just been too busy.
After the flood there have been an endless list of things to do. Carpet cleaners, new carpet layers, plumbers and insurance people galore but its almost back to normal now.
We looked at getting someone in to put in a new drain and the quotes were incredible. It would cost less to dig a road tunnel for kilometers so we decided to do the digging ourselves. Cheaper but what a job. By the time we had finished I was thinking that perhaps the tradesman's quotes were reasonable after all.
We dug a ditch from the lowest part of the area where the water came in across the yard through a rock shelf and to where the water will run downhill away from the house.
About 75 feet and a foot deep and wide.
Then we had to put a tray in and cement it in. Big job but finished now so there wont be any more floods.
Hubby has been home most of the time so we have had lots of fun especially with the feeldoe.
We love it. Much better than the conventional strapon for both of us.
We went to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras last weekend and watched the parade. Very spectacular and about 1,000 in the parade and 200,000 spectators down Oxford street.
Hubby went to Melbourne on Saturday for work for a week and was held up in the air and was late landing. There was a huge storm in Melbourne while he was in the air and he was lucky he wasn't already there.
Hailstones the size of oranges down to golfballs, washed out the football, the races were abandoned and huge damage to roofs and especially glass buldings. Millions of dollars damage .
At least it was only flooding up here we had to contend with and not destroyed roofs and collapsed ceilings.
Oh well while hubby is away I'll be wearing out the stim and the Sybian.
hugs Jan
