Whoa! Snow??!!
😮 In Essex, England? In Early December? Nooooo!!! So early in December it is practically November still!!! OK, so it is hardly a measurable depth (I can still see patches of road surface and grass through it), but even this amount makes it hard going in a wheelchair, and I have an appointment with my (real) doctor tonight, one I have been putting off since September. If I can't make it tonight it will be well into the new year before I can rebook. 😢
Snow is very pretty, but very impractical, especially for a wheelchair user. Ironically I was just discussing in Zity chat the other day the concept of snow tyres for wheelchairs, but it seems that any solution will come a little late for me this year. I do have a home-made prototype wheelchair snowplough I designed and made a couple of years ago, but the current covering is not nearly deep enough for this to be of any use.
Oh well, with any luck it will be melted by tonight. 😃
Footnote: (Added 8/12/12) Though not all the snow had melted and the pavements were a little icy I did make it to my appointment 😃

Good show on the plow. I helped a war vet rig his chair's controller to an RC remote so he could run diverse gear with it. Last I saw- he's flogging on an interface from RC Servos to a Western V plow. Once I licked the RFI bugs he's done the rest. I gave him the plans etc and he's cleaning up the sketchbook for posting to Sourceforge:}
Don't hesitate to pick my meager brains on any bodging you need, eh?

That's what you get for living in Essex!!!!! Time for the winter bloomers (not the flowering kind either) one presumes.
