Fictional stories based on elements from reality

These are fictional stories with a certain futuristic view. But the stories not entirely a work of fantasy. Something like this is really going on in certain societies around the world, according to my research, and steadily more societies adopt practices like that described in the stories. Take the stories basically as entertainment, but secondarily as a prediction of something you likely will see establishes itself in your own society.
