Before Rachel has a chance to try and come up with any reason to avoid her fate, Dr. Miller says “Please stand facing the exam table, then lean over with your elbows on the exam table.” Rachel, horrified that she will be bent over with her ass in the air while the doctor fingers her ass once again, complies in order to get this over with as quickly as possible, knowing that there is no getting out of this extra humiliating exam.

Rachel uncrosses her glossy stocking clad legs and makes more exam table paper crinkling as she slips off the exam table, she stands up and quickly turns away from the doctor, then she reluctantly bends over and rests her elbows onto the exam table, making more table paper crinkling noise. The doctor dons a fresh glove with a loud snap, making Rachel feel sour in her stomach, of course everyone heard the conversation and accompanying snap of glove.

As the doctor lubricates his gloved right index finger, Rachel hears Dr. Taylor tell Sarah that she can sit up now. Lots of table paper crinkling as she does so. Then Dr. Taylor asks Sarah “What is your age again?” Sarah quietly replies “Forty six.” Sarah likely heard Dr. Miller tell Rachel that everyone forty or older has to get a rectal exam as a part of the physical. Dr. Taylor tells Sarah what she doesn’t want to hear, poor Sarah will be getting a rectal exam.
