Rachel Morgan is glad she arrived early. She is third in line at the job fair, two men are in front of her, wearing their best three piece suits. Rachel is wearing her best office attire as well. She is wearing a slim fitting, curve hugging Navy blue sheath dress, a fitted matching Navy blue blazer, shiny suntan nylon/spandex blend thigh top stockings, and Navy blue high heels that have a thin leather strap that buckles around each slender ankle. The sheath dress is sleeveless, zips up the back, and the hem lands about four inches above her knees. Short enough to show off some of her well toned thighs, but not so short as to be inappropriate for an office. She has the blazer buttoned, the dress is cut low enough to show off a hint of her lovely cleavage, but again not so low to be considered inappropriate. A perfect blend of professionalism and feminine beauty. Her long blonde hair is worn down, and frames her beautiful face perfectly. She had applied some light makeup, which accentuates her stunning blue eyes, high cheekbones and full lips.

Rachel just turned 40 and is married, no children. She easily looks a decade younger than her 40 years, a combination of good genetics and a lifetime of eating a healthy diet and exercising. She played sports all throughout her school and college years, earning a full ride scholarship to a division 1 university playing volleyball. She ran track and played volleyball and softball in junior high and high school, and although she was a good softball player and was very competitive in track, she excelled in volleyball, her 5 foot nine inch height was a definite advantage. She made it as far as being an alternate for the USA’s Olympic volleyball team, but unfortunately she didn’t get to compete. Since graduating college with an MBA, she has focused on weightlifting, mountain biking, hiking, and taking yoga classes to maintain good balance and flexibility. Her lean, well toned physique shows how hard she has worked to stay in peak physical condition. Her hourglass figure shows off her sexy, curvy, firm hips, small, trim waist and 34C breasts. Rachel has worked her way up the ladder at her current employer, but she has hit the “family glass ceiling”, it is a family owned and operated business, she can’t make it any higher career wise if she stays there. Rachel had sent in her resume online, applying for the senior project manager position. She was invited to attend this job fair at the company’s headquarters after having an online video interview.

Rachel is next to be seen by the hiring manager from HR. After a lengthy interview, she is offered the job, and they even agreed to her requested salary! Rachel, with a big smile, enthusiastically says “Yes, I accept!” The hiring manager says “Excellent, let’s get the formalities out of the way so we can give you a start date ASAP. After your new employee medical exam you will see one of my HR colleagues to get your paperwork done. Just follow the signs in the hallway to the employee cafeteria, that is where the medical exams are taking place. They will take it from there.” Rachel, caught off guard, says “Oh, right now? I’m sorry I seem surprised, but I wasn’t expecting a medical exam today, I wasn’t aware an exam was a requirement for the job.” The hiring manager replies “All new employees are required to have a medical exam as a part of the hiring process. We are doing these on site to expedite the process and get our new employees started right away. We worked with our health insurance provider to lower the premiums for our employees and the company. The medical exam is to screen every employee for any health conditions to ensure the policy is properly rated and the premiums are appropriately set, and to help our employees stay healthy. Healthy employees are more productive and miss less work due to illness. Is this requirement an issue for you?” Rachel, suddenly nervous that she might have upset the hiring manager, nervously laughs a little and says “Oh no, it’s not an issue, I just wasn’t expecting that I’d be having a medical exam today. I will complete this requirement, and any other requirements you have for me.” The hiring manager smiles and says “Very good, welcome aboard and congratulations.”

Rachel finds her way to the employee cafeteria. It is part of the new addition to the complex. The employees are still using the old cafeteria for now. She sees a makeshift clinic set up. Standing at the entrance, she sees chairs set up in the middle of the cafeteria, presumably a “waiting area.” Along the left and right walls are curtains set up as “cubicles”, three makeshift exam rooms on each side. The curtains don’t quite reach the floor, and are high enough to provide privacy. However, she immediately notices how voices echo around the cafeteria, the high ceiling with its skylights allowing conversation to carry across the large room. This means that most likely everyone will get to hear everyone else’s exams!
