Another examination - with a view!

Part one

Amara Couzens sighed as she put on the white and red pinafore dress, a part of the babyish school uniform she still had to wear for her sixth form despite now being an adult aged eighteen years old. Amara buttoned up the front of the dress and smoothed down the skirt, turning and looking at herself in the mirror with disdain. "Only three months until I don't have to dress up like a baby for college", she thought to herself, rolling her eyes at the sight of the dress before pulling on the frilly white socks and black Mary Jane school shoes which also formed a part of the uniform.

Elsewhere, Amara's friend Tasha Williams stood in her bedroom in the two bedroom flat she shared with her mother. Tasha looked at herself in the mirror, pouting disdainfully at her reflection as she tied her hair back into a ponytail using a piece of white ribbon, scrunchies being banned under the uniform code. The very outdated uniform rules strictly forbade the wearing of tights, trousers or anything other than regular underwear in the warmer months under the childish pinafore dresses the girls were forced to wear. Just the previous week Tasha's best friend Amara had been given a weeks detention after the committed disciplinarian school nurse Miss. Beech had observed the cycle shorts she was wearing underneath her dress after she had done a handstand, extended to a week and a half after Amara had attempted to justify her wearing them on the grounds of modesty. Miss. Beech had forced Amara to take off the shorts there and then and confiscated them as contraband. A stunningly beautiful black girl, Tasha Williams had inherited her mothers curvy boobs and bum as well as her curly brown afro hair.

"Breakfast's ready!", shouted Angela Williams to her 18 year old daughter Tasha as she sipped her strong morning coffee. "Coming!", came the shout back, Tasha pulling on her socks and went downstairs to grab her breakfast, two slices of toast and marmalade waiting for her. Angela looked at her daughter, smiling weakly as she clutched another final reminder from the gas company about a long overdue bill.

"Thank heavens we've managed to get you into that school and University! You'll get us out of this mess in the years to come, dear!" said Angela proudly.

"Yes, mom!", said Tasha, eating her breakfast.

"You'd better get going, don't want you being late!", said Angela. "Remember what we talked about, we want to keep them happy. Do what they tell you without answering back, do what the doctor and nurse tell you and you'll be fine!".

"Yes, mom!", said Tasha, rolling her eyes as she pulled on her red school cardigan and outdoor coat, pulling on her school satchel.

Tasha and Amara had both come from poor backgrounds and had been allowed to stay on at the girls school sixth form which had been kept open for them and three other girls unable to afford a place at preparatory school as a token gesture the school had made to keep it's charitable, tax exempt status. This had meant the girls still being subject to the same uniform code and behavior policy they had been under as infants, juniors and seniors despite now being adults at eighteen years of age. Miss. Beech the school nurse had, with the poor girls unable to afford the usual private doctor's fee for a private pre-University medical examination, been tasked with finding a free alternative to satisfy the stringent requirements of the University's insurers. Luckily for the girls', Miss Beech had made contact with a friend, Dr. William Schiffman, who had setup a scheme to help such hard luck cases. The "Expanding Participation" scheme was run in partnership with the University's teaching hospital and medical school to provide free physical examinations to those unable to perform them along with free learning opportunities for prospective and current medical students. Today would be Tasha and Amara's turn, with their appointment booked in for 1pm that afternoon. The good doctor had made it clear his willingness to help on the basis that the patients were in turn to act as learning aids for some students at the elite preparatory school he was teaching biology and anatomy at for some aspiring medical students. As a former student of the school himself, Dr. Schiffman explained, he wished to inspire present day students to discover the advantages of learning from actual human anatomy models. Miss. Beech listened intently as Dr. Schiffman explained his theory.

"Ancient Greek gymnasia were public, open-air training facilities essential to athletic, social, and intellectual life, where participants exercised naked - gymnos - to promote physical, aesthetic, and divine ideals" said Dr. Schiffman. "We have designed the Expanding Participation programme around the same ideals in a medical context. Your girls will need to be completely unclothed from the start" he concluded.
