So fast forward another couple months and my physical rolled around. As the doctor and I were chatting she asked me if I had any concerns. I told her that as a matter of fact it may be nothing but I would at least like her opinion. I explained to her what it seemed like and she told me that she would take a look when she checked my genitals. Now, even out of my teenage years I still get erect when I get a genital exam. My doctor knows it will happen and I still apologize about it every time or make a joke to which she says it is nothing to worry about. I usually start my exam without a shirt on and she goes through it until the abdominal exam where she has me unbutton and unzip my pants so that she can push on my lower abdomen. The way their office works is that when they do intimate exams on the opposite sex there has to be another person in the room. Whether that is someone accompanying the patient or a nurse/ medical assistant. As she finished she told me that as I know she has to go grab someone to be in the room, she mentioned that looking at my chart it had been two years since my last prostate exam. She does them every couple years even before 40 due to my family history on both sides having prostate issues. I got my first prostate exam at 26. She asked me if I wanted to do that today or wait another year. I told her it was up to her, she said we will just get it done today and not worry about it for another year or two unless something comes up. She handed me a gown from the cabinet and told me to go ahead and take everything off and that she would be back in a couple minutes. I stood up and slid my jeans and boxers down and laid them on the chair with my shirt and put the gown on. I took a seat on the table again and tied the top of the gown. The doctor returned to the room knocking on the door, then walking in with one of the medical assistants who looked to be 21ish. She told the MA to grab the lubricant and a card for her as she was going to do a rectal exam after the genital exam. The doctor came up to my side and said that while I was already on the table she wanted to take a look at the bump I told her about. I leaned back on the table and she pulled my gown up to my stomach exposing my genitals and asked where it was. I took my semi erect penis in my hand and pointed it out. As I let go of my penis she grabbed it, palpating my penis and the bump. As she released my penis she said while she was already there she would just check my testicles. She palpated both balls while the MA stood watching. As she was finishing I was completely erect, I apologized that they had to see that and was told they see it all the time. The young girl was fixated on my erection, her look telling me she did not see that all the time. I then stood up, lifting my gown for a hernia exam. After that I was told to lean over the table and she would check my prostate. She changed gloves and the MA squirted lube onto the doctors fingers before she inserted her finger into my rectum after the normal rotating, pushing, and pressure from touching the prostate I felt her finger make it's way out of me. The MA handed me a couple tissues as the doctor told me that I could clean myself up as she pushed a small trash can near me with her foot. I wiped the best I could with the thin tissues and asked the doctor if we were done. She told me that if I didn't mind she would like to have the other doctor in the practice take a look at the bump on my penis as she has more experience with dermatology type issues. I told her that I did not mind and she told me to have a seat on the table and she would go grab her. The doctor and MA left the room, I grabbed a couple more wipes and cleaned up a little more before kicking the trash can back to its original location. I had a seat on the table, by this time my erection had started to subside.
