Griffin's Little Bubble

At first it angered Griffin. Angered him to be pregnant with an orb that was forming inside of his uterus and was attached to him with its own placenta. "Silo!" He yelled, "what the heck?!"

"I'm sorry, Griffin, honest. But the orb needed a source... and it chose... well.... you." Griffin grumbled, continuing to frown at the robot. "Maybe it saw how kind you are towards Rioenne and how sweet and fatherly you are with her- so it feels safe with you nurturing it inside you." Griffin looked down at the little bump protruding out of his shirt. He let out a sigh. "Fine. I guess I can handle it for the month. If that's all it needs."

"Of course! Just the month and then it'll be out of there- promise!" Griffin raised an eyebrow. "How will it be exiting out of my womb exactly?"

Silo's face reddened with a blush. "Uh.... well... the same way Rioenne did...."

"What! Oh absolutely not!"

"I know it's awful, Griffin- even slightly embarrassing-"

"Slightly? You expect me to give birth to this thing?!" Silo furrowed his eyebrows and lowered his head. Griffin huffed and stormed away to his office.

****************************************************

Griffin sat in his office rubbing his little bump. The furrow steady in his eyebrows lightened and the little wrinkle that stood in the middle lessened. Rolling up his shirt, Griffin placed his palm against his belly. The orb bubbled and bounced around inside of Griffin's womb- signaling its life with a small blue hue glowing inside of Griffin's stomach. The skin warmed a blue hue, while the orb felt around its new surroundings. Griffin didn't want to admit it, but he begin to love the orb. It made him feel like he did when he was pregnant with Rioenne. Nurturing the little fetus inside of his belly; singing to it, talking to it, playing soft music through the soft walls of his belly. Griffin ate the healthiest foods with the splurge of pizza slices, ice cream with pickles and a bag of chips while he plopped in front of the TV for his afternoon shows.

It was the soft little moments that bonded him with his baby. Then of course- Rioenne was wanted- she was invited into Griffin's womb to swim around in until she was born.

But Griffin decided he would bond with the orb too. Every gurgle he felt, every little bubble pop from eating a heavy dinner, every little twitch he felt from the orb brushing up against the walls of his womb, wrapped Griffin in this warmth of closure. Griffin needed to make sure he felt movement from the orb. He needed to make sure it was healthy- getting the best nutrition. Griffin would talk to the orb and it would grumble back. His tummy grew bigger every day. Even when his skin itched and his tummy was so round and full, that some nights he needed a dozen pillows for his back, Griffin never minded. When the pangs of morning sickness struck him or when Griffin felt too tired to do anything, except lay in his bed and rest all day, all he could think about was meeting the soft little face of the orb that nested safely inside of him. He grew protective of it. Despite learning of the orb being full grown, Griffin found it to be his duty that he still protect the orb, even after it was born.

The first prenatal appointment with Silo; hearing the orb's heartbeat for the first time grew tears in the corners of his eyes. Griffin felt excitement when the cool gel was rubbed over his belly for the ultrasound. He saw the little orb forming and moving around inside; nested gently into the walls of the uterus with its placenta attached. Griffin saw this as a deep lifeline to the orb. It was attached to him in the most intimate way.

"How are you feeling with the orb?" Silo asked, cleaning off the gel from Griffin's belly.

"I feel fine...." Silo raised an eyebrow. "Fine?"

"Well... I'm a bit nervous about the orb."

"Nervous?" Griffin nodded. "Maybe... maybe the orb is safer inside me." he said rubbing his belly. Silo raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

Griffin smiled staring down at his belly that moved and twitched- his belly button poking out of him like a knob. "He's so small and tiny- I don't think it can make it out in the world just yet."

"But it'll be born next month." The words shot through Griffin like a bullet. The thought of giving birth to the orb terrified him. Not because of the anticipating painful contractions or the feeling of the head squishing itself out of Griffin, but the realization of the orb not needing him anymore. He was just the carrier to the little one and the orb could survive on its own. Griffin secretly promised to not let that happen. He would keep the little orb in his body for as long as it needed to be. Surely one month was too short- its little body needed to develop more and a premature birth would be in the worst interest of the little fella.

"Ready for your due date?" Silo chuckled. Griffin let a smirk cross his face. "I sure am."

*******************************************

Griffin spent that night researching how to keep an orb inside of a womb for longer development. The scientific article was made for emergency solutions for expecting alien mothers who needed complete bed rest to secure their body from going into an early labor. So Griffin decided bed rest would be one of the many options he would do. Turmeric shakes with shreds of white chocolate in the mix, clenching exercises to his vagina to tighten the hole that would become the birth canal, rubbing his belly and gently cooing and singing to it to encourage the orb to want to stay inside of his womb.

They all seemed to work- at least for another week or so past the due date. But Silo wanted to induce labor, making Griffin run away to hide. He would protect his little fetus orb for as long as possible. But late afternoon was when his belly started to wiggle and twitch before a small cramp appeared in his body. "They're just braxton hicks," Griffin reassured himself, "surely the orb doesn't want to come out now- I love it so much... I can't bear to part with it."

Griffin's belly swelled into a big round ball along with his hips spreading wider to accommodate his grown bottom that bubbled out like his belly button. Griffin noticed how bouncy his breasts became- filled with milk to nurse the orb. The cramps became stronger, forcing Griffin to wander back home and face Silo. The cramps grew into contractions. "Silo.... it's time." he panted out of defeat. Silo led Griffin to the delivery room, where his stonewashed jeans and white undies were stripped off, leaving his bottom half bare. Griffin was sat on the delivery bed, where he was leaned back and his legs were placed in the leg spreading stirrups. His cheeks burned from shame to have his vagina exposed to Silo, who was gloving himself up and placing sterile surgical gowns over his robotic body.

"Ready to deliver?" his perky voice muffled through the surgical mask he placed over his mouth. Griffin nodded shyly, ignoring how the cool air wafted over his most intimate warm and slimy privates. His wet lips were prickled in stubbly hairs that had specks of gray floured through them. His plump bottom sat anxiously over the green sterile sheets, bouncing and twitching from the immense pressure he felt. Sounds of the orb shifting inside him echoed; gurgles, squish sounds, slimy echos of his slick vagina and bubbling belly sounded through the room, making Griffin blush with shame. Taking calming breaths, Griffin regretted his choice to even tell Silo about his grown love for the orb in the first place. "Oooh!" he gasped, feeling the head of the orb push down closer to his canal. Silo rushed over with a bottle of lubricant and squeezed a generous amount over Griffin's lips and through the crack of his cheeks.

Griffin felt mushy and completely exposed as the first contraction the urged him to push sprung upon him. "Okay, Griffin, you're doing great! Just take deep breaths...." Griffin let sweat bead his forehead as he panted hard and braced himself against the pain. Silo tightened his gloves and did a quick cervical check. Griffin bit his lip as he gasped embarrassingly at this intrusion. Feeling his gooey fingers dig deep inside his hole, Griffin moaned and gasped. "Ugh! Please Silo... stop!"

"You're nearly twelve centimeters dialated- just push when the next contraction hits." he reminded. As the urging contraction bit down, Griffin sucked in his breath and bared down with all his might. Silo rubbed Griffin's belly to ease the orb out of his womb and down to his vagina. Griffin pushed again- feeling the stinging intense pressure of the orb crowning against his hole. "AHHH!" he shrieked. "I'M CROWNING!"

"Deep breaths, Griffin, deep breaths!" Silo softly encouraged. Griffin took deep breaths waiting for the next contraction to hit. He began to worry about the orb and his connection with the little creature. He couldn't bare to lose his bond with it. It made him scared to give birth; his belly growing smaller as fluids and part of the orb was coming out of him. Another contraction hit. "Push!"

Griffin bared down hard, letting the orb's head crown against his hole. He gasped and groaned before pushing again. "It's stuck!" He grunted. Griffin's legs were then lifted higher and his legs spread wider as Silo's hands worked to guide the orb out as Griffin continued pushing until it completely slid out of him with him moaning and gasping. Fluids and blood streamed out of his vagina as the orb was cleaned off and the umbilical cord was clamped and cut. "It's a boy!" Griffin layed his head back against the pillow- breathing and gasping happily. "He's beautiful."

Silo layed the orb over Griffin's bare chest and let the little alien latch to his breast. As the orb sucked his milk out from Griffin, the man smiled as he nursed the little orb in his arms. A warm flourishing reminder that he never lost the bond with the orb- he was gaining an even deeper one. One he could cherish from the outside of his body that he could wrap his arms around tightly and lovingly.
