Maria swallows hard and lies back, as she lifts her legs up to move her feet towards the stirrups, the doctor gently places his hands behind Maria’s shiny nylon covered ankles, and helps guide her feet. Her feet end up firmly planted in the stirrups. Once again Maria feels like the doctor touching her nylons was too personal. The doctor says “Okay, now scoot down towards me, some more, a little more”. Lots of table paper crinkling. “Okay, that’s good, now let your legs fall open as wide as you can” says the doctor. Maria opens her legs. The doctor holds his hands out wider to show how wide he wants her legs, and says “Out to here please”. Maria complies, her legs end up open obscenely wide. She feels like her ass is about to fall off the table, in reality her ass is just slightly over the edge. Maria feels extremely embarrassed at how wide she has had to spread her legs open. The doctor pushes the paper drape up, fully exposing Maria’s pancake flat firm abdomen, from her navel down, her completely hairless and stubble free mons, vulva, and perianal area on full display. Her puffy labia majora are almost completely hiding her small labia minora. The doctor switches on the LED lamp that is mounted to the wall to his left, and swings it into place, fully illuminating Maria’s pubic area. The very bright LED lamp combines with the bright overhead LED lights to make Maria’s shiny beige nylon thigh top stockings look glossy, almost like they are oiled up. The very bright lights also make her bare, exposed skin glow, her silky soft, buttery smooth skin having a slight sheen from the type of body lotion she uses.

Maria cringes at the sound of the doctor and nurse donning white nitrile gloves with loud snaps. Dr. Miller pulls out a rolling stool from under the sink, has a seat, and rolls up in between Maria’s glossy, outstretched legs, her nylon covered feet resting in the stirrups. He says “Okay Mrs. Wilson, I am going to begin with an external exam. You will feel me touching you now”. Maria flinches slightly at his touch, she stares at the ceiling, counting the tiny holes in the ceiling tiles, trying to disconnect her mind from what is happening between her wide open legs. The doctor thoroughly checks every fold of her labia, finishing with pushing up her clitoral hood, making Maria shudder a little. Satisfied that there are no adhesions, he pushes her clitoral hood back down. She now feels a finger at her introitus. He says “Now I am going to palpate your Bartholin’s and Skene’s glands”. She feels him lightly pinch her at the four o’clock and eight o’clock positions at her vaginal entrance, then his finger partially enters her and presses up on her anterior vaginal wall. “All normal so far, now I will check you for urinary incontinence. Go ahead and cough hard for me” says the doctor. Maria coughs hard as the doctor’s finger presses up on her anterior vaginal wall and milks her urethra, while holding her labia wide open with his other hand. He says “Cough again please”. Maria coughs hard once more. Dr. Miller says “Excellent, no signs of urinary incontinence. Everything checks out normal so far. Now I will fully insert my finger to check the depth and angle of your cervix for the speculum insertion”. Maria bites her lower lip as he probes her deeply for a brief moment, then he withdraws his finger. Dr. Miller says “Okay Mrs. Wilson, next is the speculum exam”.

Maria’s heart starts pounding in her head, she really hates this part. The speculum always causes her a lot of discomfort, like her vagina is being stretched past its limit. And the cytobrush always feels like a drill is being used to bore open her cervical os during the Pap test. The nurse hands the doctor the brightly lit plastic speculum, the blades lightly lubricated, while she admires Maria’s glossy beige, nylon clad well toned thighs and fully exposed hairless vulva. The doctor says “You may feel some pressure as I place the speculum, try and relax as much as you can. You will feel me touching you now”. Maria feels the doctor part her labia wide, then cool hard plastic beginning to penetrate her tight vagina. As the speculum invades her deeper, she feels pressure building. Fully inserted now, Maria feels the doctor rotate the blades so the handle is down, and he says “Now I’m going to open the speculum, I won’t need to open it too wide, just enough to be able to visualize your cervix. You will feel a little more pressure now”. Maria feels a lot of pressure building, she can hear and feel each loud plastic sounding click as the doctor opens her up. Four clicks later, just when she thought she couldn’t take any more, he stops. Maria, her hands on her abdomen just above her navel, uses her left hand to squeeze her right hand tightly.

Maria looks at the nurse out of the corner of her eye, the nurse is intently focused on Maria’s wide open vagina, the brightly lit bills illuminating her insides along with the very bright LED lamp. The doctor says “Everything looks normal, your vaginal passage and cervix are a nice healthy pink. And your IUD strings are still intact”. Maria feels her face get hot with embarrassment hearing the doctor talking about her insides and IUD like he was making casual conversation at a bar. He says “Now I will take the swabs for the Pap and HPV tests. The first one will probably be the one you feel most”. The nurse hands him the cytobrush. “Okay, here we go. You may feel some light cramping or a pinch”. Maria feels the brush pushing into her cervical os, causing her hips to lift a little, making the table paper crinkle. Her glossy nylon covered toes curl tightly, and her glossy nylon covered, chiseled calves tense up. She feels an unpleasant scraping sensation and some cramping, then what feels like a pinch as the doctor pulls the brush out of her cervical os. Thankfully it is over quickly, she relaxes her calves and toes. The doctor hands the nurse the cytobrush, she swishes it in the small liquid filled cup. She then hands the doctor the cytobroom. He says “Now for the endocervical sample, this one you shouldn’t feel as much”. The doctor swabs her outer cervix, the soft longer portion of the broom entering her cervical os, the rest of the broom sweeping the end of her cervix. Maria only feels a slight scrape, but her glossy toes still curl. The doctor hands this one to the nurse and she repeats the swishing in the cup. She then hands the doctor the long handled fat Qtip. He says “Now for the last sample. You probably won’t feel this one”. The doctor swabs her vaginal pool below her cervix, she doesn’t really feel anything, but the speculum is starting to hurt now. The doctor hands the swab to the nurse, and says “Okay Mrs. Wilson, you did well, now I will remove the speculum”.

Maria feels almost instant relief as the doctor partially closes and carefully removes the speculum, as not to pinch her. The pain and pressure finally subside. She sees the doctor hand the soiled speculum to the nurse, who removes the battery powered LED light and throw the used speculum into the biohazard bin. She then places the battery onto the battery charger on the counter. Maria is very relieved that at least this part is done. But she knows that the almost equally hated internal bimanual vaginal exam is next.

The doctor stands up and removes the glove from his left hand, and tosses it in the trash bin. He uses his left hand to switch off the bright LED lamp, then swing it aside to the wall. He steps back in between Maria’s still obscenely spread wide, glossy beige nylon covered legs, and takes an opened foil packet of lubricant the nurse hands to him. Maria watches him squeeze a generous dollop of lubricant onto his still gloved index and middle fingers of his right hand, and he spreads it all around the two fingers with his gloved thumb. She feels sick to her stomach, knowing those two thick and long gooey fingers are about to penetrate her now sore vagina, a place she usually only allows her husband to see and touch. She curls her glossy nylon covered toes in anticipation of what’s to come seconds from now. He hands the packet back to the nurse and says “Okay Mrs. Wilson, now I am going to perform the internal bimanual vaginal exam. You may feel some pressure as I palpate your cervix, uterus and ovaries. Try and relax as best you can, especially your abdominal muscles. You will feel me touching you now”.
