Julia and Eric spent four hours looking, kissing and embracing eachother naked after they dried off, almost in complete silence. Just letting the moonlight spotlight eachother as they sit indian style in front of eachother on the couch.

I am sure the hormonal changes from the birth control will also cause you future suffering as well. I thought about trying to convince you not to do it."

"Why didn't you?"

"Because I can't stop your pain now or in the future. That is what scares me. You can't imagine falling in love with another man because you are giving all of yourself to me now, and I can feel that love. It is inevitable. Lots of men are going to see a sad beautiful woman who loved and lost someone she gave her heart to, and they will gladly wait for her to heal. Maybe some of them will break your heart and it won't work out. Or maybe you will find someone else whose broken heart will be healed. Maybe you will need to hold off having children with this person, maybe you will decide the IUD was a bad idea and you want to have fifteen kids as soon as possible."

"But I had it put in me for a chance that you might change your mind. That is the real reason."

"I know that too. You want to give us a final wish, something truly special to make sure we have every possible way to show eachother love and affection. Nothing is promised to anyone, but I know in my heart we have a chance to show eachother so much more love than that."
