"Um, what is the largest size malt you have?"

"We call them Big Ass Malts, Sir, they are 50 ounces."

Julia holds up two fingers as she holds the heating pad snugly against her lower abdomen with her other hand. "Ok, I'll have two Big Ass strawberry malts. That's all. Thank you."

Julia looks at Eric sympathetically, "Aren't you gonna have anything, Babe?" Eric closes his eyes and shakes his head no. Ten minutes and Julia has slurped her way to being a happy girl. "Ok, I think I am going to be ok now. Eric, you are sweating, are you okay, Babe?"

Eric pulls over at a grocery store, "Ummm, I am going to get you some ice. Maybe a cold compress will, help you. Anyway, I'll be right back." Eric comes back with some ice and some wintergreen mints 30 minutes later.

Julia smiles sympathetically, "Are you okay?"

"Great actually, a bit euphoric. I usually need to yack before a doctor's appointment. I should be ok now."

Julia rests her hand on his face, "You had to throw up? You do this before every doctor's appointment? Eric, you are 18! Why not get a male doctor or someone else you are more comfortable with?"

"Ugh gag, no male doctor. I don't want to waste time going to find a new woman doctor, atleast now I know what to expect with her."

Julia and Eric make use of the ice as they sit in the doctor's parking lot. Eric is using ice on his face and neck, Julia is using it as a compress on her tummy. Eric asks Julia for the time again. It is 3:35. Eric sighs, "Well, I don't have enough time to barf again, just stay cool, suck on the mints, everything will be ok..."

Julia ices up her hands and gently places her hands on his face, neck and chest and breathes with him slow. "Eric, I can wait inside and tell them you are here and come get you when your name is called."

Eric places his hand on Julia's cold compress, "Are you sure you wouldn't mind? I don't want you to have to do that for me."

"Babe, that is why I am here, I'll see you in a few minutes."

Julia sits in the waiting room for ten minutes and Eric comes in sitting next to her relaxed and looking like a million bucks as he pops in two more mints, "That bonus barf on her hedges outside really hit the spot."

"Eric, come on back we are ready for you!"
