She had 2 children, as I had also, and her husband had passed away almost 2 years ago. In the spring she had moved back to the area to be closer to her daughter and grand daughter. Les and I had never ‘done the deed’, as they used to say back in day, but had many ‘pretty heavy petting sessions’. We laughed and joked about the time her mother came home early and nearly caught us, but that’s another story. As we continued to reminisce about high school, we both had wondered, over the years, what might have happened had we not broke up and what direction our lives would have taken.

Thank God we never got caught; our parents would have killed us !!!
