Julia can feel jealousy rising in her tummy and quickly remembers Eric and her are not alone and tries to sound more diplomatic, "I think it is really great you have a female doctor and that shows a lot of maturity. What I didn't like is the fact we have had many conversations about your doctor and you made a point of never mentioning she was in fact a she. It really disappoints me after your talk about wanting to be completely honest with me. "

Katie looks over at Julia sympathetically and then Eric with disappointment, "Julia, I am really sorry. I know it was me avoiding the topic through omission, but in my defense those conversations were pre-girlfriend/boyfriend stage."

Julia folds her arms, "And when did you plan on correcting your omissions with complete honesty?"

Gary looks almost half-amused, " Uh ugh oh! Eric is in trouble. It's ok, Eric, your mother curses like a sailor at me sometimes and when she feels bad she makes me brownies or we have sex!"

"Gary!!! I do not swear at you and I would never act like that!"

"Ummm uh, you do too. Just before Julie and Eric came in you promised me you would have sex with me if I was respectful to Julia and didn't ask to paint her completely naked."

"Gary, stop it, stop it, stop it. I made no such promise!"

Gary makes firm eye contact with Julia as he slobers, "Julie, I would never make you feel uncomfortable and ask to paint your naked lady parts. You could take your clothes off and lay on your stomach and I could just draw your back and butt."

Eric smacks his forehead and Katie throws up her hands, "That is the same fucking thing, Gary! Painting a woman naked is painting her naked whether you do it from the side, front, or back!"

Gary slowly shakes his head side to side, "You are wrong, Katie. Eric and I went to the waterpark on his 16th birthday and all the girls on the volleyball court had their butts out, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I sent Eric over to ask if I could paint them!"

Julia and Katie look over at Eric with suspicion, "Actually, Dad I didn't directly ask, I asked to play a quick game with them and they said hell no, your question was just an implied no based on their disdain of me. And, Dad, those were G-string bikinis, they weren't technically naked."

"Oh uh ugh, alright. Julie, I will be a gentleman and let you wear a G-string and just imagine what the rest looks like when I paint."

Before Katie can flip out Julia gives Gary, a sweet whole-hearted apology and rejection, "Gary, you are so nice with your compliments and offering to draw a portrait of me. I am kind of a shy girl and photos and drawings of me make me uncomfortable. If I ever change my mind, I will let you know so you won't ever have to ask again."

"Ugh uh, awwww, ok, Julie, I wish you weren't shy, you are so beautiful."

Julia walks over and pecks him on the cheek and silences the topic for good. "Actually, Miss Kay T and Gary, Eric and I do have something we want to ask you."
