A tap on the door startled Angela out of her thoughts about male or female doctors. Without waiting for an answer the door opened and the nurse from before walked in.

''Good you're ready, the doctor won't be long he's nearly finished with his previous patient.'' Angela realized the nurse had said 'he' so it was to be a male doctor. The nurse seemed to read her thought and said ''oh don't worry he's very nice I'm sure you'll like him.'' Angela thought I don't care if I do like him he's still a man I hope the examination isn't going to be too intimate. Her previous examination had been with an older lady doctor and even that had been embarrassing having her breasts examined and answering questions about her periods and sex life.

Another tap on the door and in walked a fortyish, tall, good looking man in smart grey trousers and open necked shirt with the sleeves rolled up above the elbows. Angela had expected some white coated, grey haired man, not this quite good looking guy. ''Doctor Green, Miss Williams is ready for you.''

''Hello Miss Williams I'm doctor Green, sorry you already know that, anyway I'll be conducting your examination today along with nurse Taylor if you'd like her to stay?'' Angela said ''yes please'' feeling she wanted the support of another woman in case it involved any further removing of clothes. ''And please call me Angela, Miss Williams sounds so formal.''

''No problem Angela and as it's your first visit since you registered with us I've booked a double session for you today so I can do a complete physical and you'll have plenty of time to ask questions.''

Angela's pulse and BP must have shot up straight away but felt glad she had the support of nurse Taylor. ''Now I'll just go and fetch two students who are here today.''

''Students?'' Angela said.

''Yes we are attached to St. Agnes Hospital, nurse you did get Angela to sign the consent form?''

''Yes doctor''

''You read and understand the form I hope Angela? You see it's important the young people studying medicine get practical experience as well as lectures, it's really nothing to be embarrassed about they see many patients and procedures during their training as well as taking numerous written tests. So if you don't mind I think we should start with your basic details. Nurse will you take Miss Williams' sorry Angela's BP, weight and height while I go and fetch the students.

Angela was stunned but felt trapped as the doctor left the room but was brought back to the moment when nurse Taylor started to take her BP.

As the nurse removed the cuff from her arm she said ''seems a bit high but perhaps you just nervous, but don't be, really nothing to worry about.''

With that the door opened again and doctor Green and two others walked into the room both with medical masks covering the lower part of their faces but still obviously a young man and a young woman.

As Angela was lead over to the scales she felt the draft across her back and legs and realized as she walked, everyone else in the room couldn't fail to see the back of the gown was now open revealing her bare skin and lacy underwear.

Weight taken she was told to turn around to face the room, the doctor and students as her height was measured. She tried to avoid eye contact with the others but found it difficult to avoid and increasingly embarrassing. She was lead back to the examination couch and listened as the doctor described to the two young students that the new couch was a recent addition to the clinic, very advanced, giving both convenience to the doctor and comfort for the patient as once on the table the patient's height and position could be adjusted by the touch of a few buttons so assisting the doctor to examine any part of the patient with ease.

Angela hearing this became even more nervous and less in control, if in fact she could be any less in control than the situation she now found herself in. Dressed in just a gown. underwear and nothing else in a room with this doctor, two students and the nurse not knowing what was to happen she wished she had the courage to say stop, get dressed and leave. Sadly the she seemed to have removed from herself any power she had to control things happening to her when she had removed her clothes.

Could things get any worse? She would just have to try and blank out her mind and get through the ordeal.
