If I had any hope the spanking might be less than usual because it was instead of a warning the first five spanks showed this wasn't going to be a light one. After a couple of dozen hand spanks she said, "Time for the brush to do the talking. I hope you're listening .... smack! (I bellowed) .... just because you're 18 doesn't mean you're too old ... smack ... for your mother to give you a good spanking ... smack."

So it continued and I was soon bawling my head off.

Finally it ended and she said, "No strap for you this time Tommy, but when you need it you'll get it. You understand?" "Yes," I managed to say through my tears. "Good, Now, up you get."

The most embarrassing part was two days later when I went back to the Tabors. Mrs. Tabor had called and asked me if I'd come over. I thought something needed to be moved. Not quite! After a warm greeting I was ushered into the family room where Tal was curled in a chair watching TV she turned off as I came in.

Mrs. Tabor plunged right in, "Your mother tells me she spanked you for not having your room cleaned up the way she's asked you to."

She looked at me and I had no option but to say, "Yes." Like mom might she said, "Yes what?" and I mumbled, "Yes I got spanked."

"I'm sure you needed it. Young men do well under the firm hand of a loving mother. Girls too." Then she called out, "Chris ... Chris can you come down here please."

Chris showed up, looking, for Chris, a little subdued and her mother said, "Will you three please wait here, I'm going to call Tommy's mother." She left, and soon was back and said, "That works well. She's on her way over."

At Mrs. Tabor's wish we all sat and waited for mom. Mostly in nervous anticipation of what this was all about. Mom arrived, said hello pleasantly enough and sat down.

"FIrst," Mrs. Tabor said to my mom, "I've told the girls when Tommy arrived you'd spanked him for not cleaning his room when he was told. Tommy has learned, like here, it's no longer three strikes and you're out. Mess up. You're out. Right Nan?"

"Right," said mom. "I expect I'll have to give Tommy more spankings than in the past but as he learns first time obedience he'll need fewer. "Same here," said Mrs. Tabor, "To paraphrase, an enema when necessary but not necessarily an enema." Then she laughed and said she wasn't quite sure what that meant but she liked the sound of it. Then she added, "and speaking of enemas and such usually a glycerin suppository before a spanking."

After a pause mom looked at me, Chris and Tal and continued, "That's where we're at now and today we want to tell you we've decided to take discipline the next step to, we hope, being more effective. Shall I tell them, Julie, or would you like to?"

"Please, go ahead," said Mrs. Tabor to mom.

"Alright. Here it is. As you know when you're punished it isn't a secret. Tal, you get punished Chris and Tommy will know. Tommy gets an enema, Chris and Tal will know. We're not saying it will be on Facebook but it won't be a secret either. What we've decided, as part of the open book policy between the two families is that punishments won't be private either.

"Chris, Tal, you already see each other punished from time to time. From here on if Tommy is around he'll witness as well and when he's punished you two may witness. We realize Tommy is over here far more than you two are at our house and so, while we won't keep a perfect balance we are going to start a punishment log. The first entry will be Tommy's spanking two days ago. The log will have some details of the punishment, and who was present. It may be, to keep some semblance of a balance I'll need to bring Tommy over here or invite you to our place when I have to punish him. Questions?"

Chris, Tal, myself sat with stunned faces. In particular I was not thrilled with the idea of being spanked in front of Chris and Tal. On the other hand just the thought of seeing Chris and Tal punished was exciting.

"No questions ..... then, you'll be sorry to hear ,,, well, Julie, your two, you'd best tell them,"

Mrs. Tabor said "I'm sorry to say that not only is this new openness effective immediately but, Tal, you're going to be spanked and Chris, I'm going to give you an enema."

Gasps. protests, distress ... all from Chris and Tal. I sat silently not believing my luck, as I saw it, and trying to keep a silly grin off my face.
