Mommy Sue's Farm

Mommy Sue's Farm - Chapter 2

I collected my bags from the rental parked under the old tree and carried them bags into the farmhouse. The children were already sitting at the large table in the kitchen, eagerly waiting for me to join them.

“Put your bags in the first room” Mommy Sue told me. “You can leave them there. I’ll take the stuff you need to the nursery after supper”

I got out the plastic bag with their presents and headed back to the kitchen.

I saw that all three kids had their waterproof pants on. Oh I wish I had my terry nappy and plastic pants on. I knew it wouldn’t be long before I was taken to the nursery and suitably dressed up.

Supper was a fun time with everyone talking and enjoying the time. I really had missed this time together. They were my extended family.

After finishing supper of chicken pie and vegetables, Mary got up and came and took all the plates away. The younger kids were getting more and more excited waiting for their presents. The bag with the presents in was at the end of the table.

“Bring the bag of presents here when you come back Mary” I asked her.

On the way back Mary picked up the bag and came and sat next to me. She looked totally adorable in the white t-shirt, terry nappy and white plastic pants. She shifted closer to me until she was right up against me.

I pulled out the wrapped presents and handed them to Bobby and Clair.

“Thank you so much Uncle Peter!” they said in unison and started to tear off the wrapping.

“Lego!” shouted Billy. “Oh thank you Uncle Peter!”

Clair tore her last remaining paper off and sat staring at the blue colored box of Lego. She was so thrilled at getting Princess Elsa’s magical ice palace.

“Wow Uncle Peter! This is the biggest Lego I have ever received as a present. Thank you!” She came over and gave me a big hug before taking it to the lounge area floor.

“Don’t open it here Clair” said Mommy Sue. “We’ll take all the presents to the nursery just now and then you can all play while I sort out Uncle Peter”

“Aw mom…” chirped Clair.

“Just wait Clair. We will be going there very soon” replied Mommy Sue.

There were two presents left. Mary took hers and handed the last one to Mommy Sue.

“Oooh do I also get a present?” grinned Mommy Sue.

“Of course!” I replied.

Mary started to open her present. Inside was a hard covered book and another present wrapped separately.

“Don’t open that second present. It’s something special for you and we will open it later at the right time.”

Mary nodded. She remembered the other special presents I had given her in the past.

“What could this be?” wondered Mary. It was a small black box and not as large as the other presents in the past.

Mary turned the book around. It was a hardcover first edition of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon.

“It’s signed by the author”

“Oh thank you Uncle Peter. I have not read this one. Replied Mary and turns and gives me a soft kiss of the cheek.

She then takes the smaller present and gently studies it, wondering what is inside.

“In the past Uncle Peter’s special presents have all been intimate objects for me. My first vibrator in steampunk style, those turquoise Bohemian Gypsy Leather Cuffs… nothing cheap and made of plastic. What could this be?” pondered Mary.

I passed the last present to Mommy Sue. She smiled and asked if she could open it here.

“Yes you can!” I replied, winking at her.

“Hmmm… what can this be” replied Mommy Sue as she gently opened the present paper.

“Rip it open mommy!” cried the younger two kids in unison,

Mommy Sue carefully pulled of the last sticky tape holding that present together. She took off the wrapping paper and put it to one side. Inside was a beautiful cream box. She opened it and inside was a white dress of sorts. She picked it up and held it up. It was a victorian style woman's nightgown that opened up in the front with the most exquisite tiny shell buttons.

“Oh this is beautiful Peter! It has that old fashioned look to it, and look at the detail of the designs”

“It’s a victorian design. There is still something below that paper in the box” I said.

Mommy Sue removed it and lifted the small garment.

“Oh this is beautiful. A matching panties for the nightgown. With side-tie white cotton ribbons. You should not have Peter!”

I smiled. It would look wonderful on Mommy Sue.

“Lets go to the nursery” said Mommy Sue.

“At last!” I thought.
