Katie is experiencing a range of emotions thanks to her sugar high. She knows her nurse friends are right that her romantic infatuation with Leo Rivers can only cause her pain, but in some moments in life people desperately need to feel emotions good or bad. Katie needs to be around Leo that very moment, she couldn't even explain why if anyone asks her. Logistically, it is rather simple to take the back staircase from the bottom floor to the emergency room while avoiding the nurses station. Katie is going to sneak into Leo's curtained cubicle not knowing why or even what she will say.

She takes a quick breath and bursts in. "Oh my, oh my. Um hi, Leo...it's me Katie from Clark highschool!" Almost simultaneously Leo and Annie look over their shoulders, Annie holding a thermometer in a butt and Leo laying on his stomach blushing.

Annie seems startled and agitated, "Dear, I am with a patient and we need privacy right now... I want you to excuse yourself and go to the break room and call Angela she mentioned an urgent issue she needed to discuss with you about a personal matter. If I need you to attend to our patient, wait for me to instruct you first next time."

Enid with her cat-like reflexes sees Katie enter Leo's cubicle, "Oh , shit, shit, shit. Mary, Lily, she is sneaking in. Before the three can formulate a plan to extract Katie she walks out abruptly passing all three of them toward the breakroom.

Lily with her mouth wide open asks, "What the hell was that? She was in there for like ten seconds literally. What is going on in there, why would she do that?

Mary thought for a minute, "Are we sure Annie isn't in there?

Lily nods with certainty, "We have all been watching that cubicle for a good hour and a half no one has gone in and out."

Enid gently brushes her dark strands of hair from her eyes, "Yeah, but this is Annie we are talking about, she could have crawled from the ceiling and strung herself down." Lily's unbridled curiosity sends her rushing to the curtained area."

Annie nearly stabs Leo as she retries taking his temperature for the 40th time. Leo is horrified by the poke and embarrassment of another new visitor opening the curtained area. Fortunately for Leo his brain has blocked out the majority of that last 2 hours. His brain has been treating him to memory reels of his favorite lived experience, bottomless babe a blushing volume 1, 2, and 3. "Oh Nurse Lily, I am surprised to see you here. I was just about to get my first thermometer confirmation out of the way."

Lily controls her condescending tone, "Oh, really, your first? Well, let me pull up a chair, me and the other girls are dying to know the results." Leo beats his face into the pillow hating himself for agreeing to this absurd humiliation study." Annie peeks her face inches from Leo's butt trying to read the mercury as she adjusts and readjusts the thermometer. Lily just smiles enjoying the ridiculousness of the whole situation not caring how long it plays out.

Completely defeated, Annie withdrawls the thermometer and Lily enthusiastically asks for the verdict. Annie announces, " Abdominal temperature 100.01, rectal 99.99, time charted 11:14 am.

Lily nods with satisfaction, "Well, Head Nurse Willows, are you convinced yet. Can we nip this thing in the butt?" Leo continues to hide his face in the pillow as he blushes.

Before leaving Annie expresses her no quit intent as she opens and closes the curtain, "I am done with our patient for now. I still need time to assess the results."

Lily pulls up Leo's pants and firmly pats his hip, "Well, soldier, how you holding up? You ready to let me help you yet or are you gonna battle some more with Nurse General Buttslasher?" Leo is visibly upset and angry as Lily helps him roll on his back

"What is going on with this study??? Is this woman crazy or something? How many times does she need to recheck my temperature in my butt, I am seriously getting sore."

Lily smiles sympathetically, "I sure would love to help you out myself, but I can't, my Nurse General hates me.

"Wait a minute, a second ago you said you could help me out."

Lily wiggles her neck, "Sorry, I misspoke. I know someone who our Head Nurse would listen to."

"Who, your Chief of Staff, please tell him I want out of the study."

Lily laughs, "Oh hell no, he couldn't interfere in the study even if he wanted to at this point. He'd be finished."

"Seriously, she could come back any minute, why can't you just tell me what I need to do?"

Lily smiles widely, "I tap one button on my phone and tell Angela you are suffering and needs her help, she will find a way to save you from, Annie, 100%.

"How, what can she do it if the Chief of Staff can't do anything?"

Lily taps her lips, "let me tell you a little bit about Angela. You know she is sweet and pretty, but what you don't know is how cunning and smart she is. Annie thinks she controls Angela, but with a little collaboration with Mary, Angela can make Annie do anything she wants, no problem."

"Yes, then please help, I am begging you then."

Lily rocks her head back and forth, "Naaaa, changed my mind sorry, you probably won't even thank her for literally saving your butt. You will probably just want me to give her a card written by Hallmark."

"I promise if you get Angie to help me I won't act like a boy, I will talk to her like a man, just please now, we are wasting time." Lily smiles and does a curtsey as she leaves the area.
