Chapter 1 - Finding a Dental ad From Miss Preston

It was a lovely fall day in Toronto as Veronica walked down Bloor Street just enjoying a nice walk in the city. Veronica was your typically 26 year old grad student studying economics at U of T, and like most mid 20 year olds in an expensive city she was broke again, and a way to earn some extra cash.

She had just walked into her usual Starbuck to get her favourite dragon fruit fresher lemonade. When she saw the ad board near the back with a bright pink flier that caught her eye it had a big smiling tooth wearing a Tierra.

The ad said “Do you need Cash” “Do you also need a teeth cleaning” “Well then Read on” in the description below the ad said they were looking for participates to take part in practice dental cleanings and X-rays. Veronica ran her tongue over her teeth they could use a cleaning and getting paid for it sounded great. Her university insurance had just pulled the plug on her saying she was not taking enough grad classes to qualify for dental health care anymore. The ad went on to say they would pay you cash per visit, per procedure. All Veronica had to provide was some general info like her age, gender, occupation, and the last time you had visited a dentist. It didn’t sound like scam to her as she was not giving away anything away that someone couldn’t find on her social media page. The only part that made her nerves was admitting when she had last visited a dentist, which was over a year ago but she figured maybe that would be in her favour. She saw only 1 tab had been pulled on the flyer at the bottom so decided to text the number and see.

Veronica sent a text while she waited for her drink to be made, and was surprised as she sipped her yummy dragon fruit refresher lemonade while walking out of Starbucks, to get a reply back so quickly.

The woman who answered said she was the head dental hygienist (Miss Preston) and was determining candidates suitability. The texting didn’t seem to be going that well as she said they had a lot of interest from other candidates. After Veronica had given her all the info but how long since she last visited a dentist.

However, once Veronica admitted it had been over a year since she last visited a dentist. It seemed to immediately get her accepted. Miss Preston then asked Veronica if she was free this coming weekend to come for a first consultation visit. She gave Veronica an address in the high park region, and said please ring for Miss Preston on arrival, it said to come on Saturday at 2pm. Saturday came and Veronica took the quick 25 minute TTC subway ride arriving after a nice little walk outside a big old red bricked Victorian style house. As Veronica approached the front door she noticed a large brass plaque that said, ’Doctor Samantha Steel’ Dental Surgeon Ground Floor. press bell 1 and enter.’ Underneath was a smaller sign that read, ‘Miss J Preston, Top Floor press bell 2. She checked her text and it did say to press the bell for Miss Preston so she pressed the appropriate bell and waited for someone to answer the door.

Veronica heard foot steps coming down the stairs and then it opened and she met the head dental hygienist Miss Preston. “Hello you must the grad student Veronica I was texting this week. I’m so excited that you’re here thank you for answering my ad I was sure someone perfect would be interested in practice dental cleaning and other procedures”.

The mysteries Miss Preston didn’t seem like the typical person you expected for paid medical procedures. The woman who now stood before her, looked to be in her mid 40’s, and had dark shoulder length hair a rather curvy full figure. She was very very attractive Veronica admitted internally, and wore a vintage dark blue Nursing uniform with a crisp white apron, held in at her waist by a wide black belt that exaggerated her feminine curves. She wore black patent stiletto shoes and those sexy black seamed stockings which were Veronica’s favourite type of stockings, her outfit was topped off by a standard white lace nurses cap giving her the appearance of someone who had just stepped out of the set of ‘The Royal’.

Having been somewhat taken back by her appearance, Veronica eventually after an overly long pause said in a bit of a fluster, “Hello Miss Preston, I’m really pleased to meet you too”. “I was happy to answer the ad I can use the extra money and as a bonus my teeth get cleaned.” “Please Veronica, just call me Judy as I will be the one conducting everything for your consultation, and we need to get comfortable with each other.”

“I’m so sorry if I kept you waiting at the door, but I had some emergency weekend patients in the dental surgery his morning, and I haven’t even had a chance to get out of this awful uniform yet!” Veronica wanted to say it looked amazing on her as she always did enjoy the classic nurses uniforms they seemed so sexy and she wanted to tell her that she looked fabulous in the ‘awful uniform’ but it felt strange for her to say that at this time. “I didn’t realise that you lived above the Dental Surgery.” Veronica had always had a bit of a secret thing about women in uniform, scrubs and even surgical attire. They caused her to feel rather aroused, and she especially liked those vintage nurses uniforms from the 1960’s with the standard black seamed stockings and high heels.

“Ohh yes,’ I actually own the property, and just rent out the ground floor to Doctor Samantha steel for her dental surgery. In fact, I’m a highly qualified dental hygienist nurse”. Veronica felt like this was sounding better all the time. She was lead upstairs to a nice little lounge. “Please sit and I’ll make us some nice iced coffees and we can talk about what the practice dental cleanings and other procedures are all about.” With those last words she disappeared into the kitchen. Veronica occupied herself with looking around the lounge noticing the large amount of medical & dental texted books on Judy’s shelf. Ones like cavity filling volume 1. Root Canal Procedures, Administrating Nitrous Oxide Gas., Oral Numbing & Nerve Location. A large section with 3 large volumes titled Dental Instructions on Surgical Extraction Procedures – volumes 1,2 & 3. It seemed to Veronica that Judy Preston was a very dedicated and skilled dental hygienist nurse who had multiple specialties she assisted on.

Veronica was still browsing as she picked up the book “Administrating Nitrous Oxide Gas” she began looking through it and one picture made Veronica pause, she found herself captivated by what she saw. The picture showed a shiny black anesthesia mask held over the nose and mouth of a young female. Her eyes were open, but there was a vacant look to them as the young woman was drunk with anesthesia gas as she was being put under.

Veronica scrutinize the young woman’s image, her eyes intrigued her. The eyes, drunk with anesthesia, heavy clouded and half closed in the last moments before going under. The unfocused and totally surrendering look fascinated her what would it be like to experience it herself she thought.

She then imagined Miss Preston being one over her holding the anesthesia mask to her face as she succumbed to the nitrous oxide gas. She felt herself getting flushed as she imagined it. Veronica quickly closed the book and returned it to the shelf but felt herself feeling rather hot and aroused from the strange thought’s with her cheeks turning bright red.

Judy returned a few minute’s later with some nice iced coffees. Luckily Veronica’s flush had finally disappeared by then. As they sipped their iced coffees Judy began telling her how she had put the ad out herself as she was trying to get a new dental certificate by practicing a variety of procedures. She seemed a little unclear on what these other procedures were. However Veronica’s mind kept going back to the image of the woman being put under nitrous oxide gas, she had never imagined what that would be like so she only truly half listened to what Judy was saying.

Judy went on to explain practicing on real people was the best beneficial practice, and would help improve her skills. The talk then turned to how Judy got into the dental hygienist profession, and Judy with great excitement started to describe her skills and training as a dental hygienist nurse, with anaesthesia as her speciality. She seemed very proud of the fact that she was specially trained on how to restrain and treat difficult and nervous patients, which appeared to be her favourite subject. “It works like a charm all patients that come to use are always the most nervous and difficult ones.” “I show them my cute outfit flash them my sexy stockings get them distracted so by the time they nice and comfortable in Dr Samantha steels chair” “It already too late as I restraint give them a little whiff of nitrous oxide gas and they are like putty in my hands” she said wickedly. She was still sitting opposite Veronica in her dental nurse uniform, and owing to the fact that her skirt was slightly short, Veronica started to get a glimpse of the tops of her black seamed stocking and the garter clips as her skirt inadvertently worked its way up her high. The thought of being restrained in the dental chair by this older beautiful strict dental nurse was causing Veronica to feel some rather strange and mixed feelings especially after seeing the picture in the book. She could feel herself getting flushed again, and a little aroused. She was about to make an excuse so she could start to make a swift departure before she embarrassed myself.

Veronica’s face must have looked quite flushed because Judy stopped and said, “Are you feeling alright Veronica? I hope my stories aren’t making you feel unwell or uncomfortable” Judy then looked at her in a new light with a gleam in her bright green eyes “Veronica do you have an concerns with any of your teeth you did say in your text it’s been well over a years since you last saw a dentist. Veronica suddenly got very flustered at his question “haha I don’t think so Judy. My teeth have been feeling a little more sensitivity when I brush recently but pretty sure that’s just grad school stress.” “Ohh Veronica my sweet dear tooth sensitivity can be from many things. It could be a more serious tooth problem, you need to have those kinds of things looked at immediately. It could be a server cavity or something worse like an infected tooth. Why don’t you let me take a quick look at you while you’re here?” “Since you came all this way, let’s make this your first official visit. I promise I will make sure your compensated as we discussed, and give a bonus for the added trouble”

“This way we can get an idea of your general dental health, and schedule a follow up visit to address anything else.” Veronica had not expected his but she reluctantly agreed to Judy giving her a quick examination. “Wonderful thank you Veronica” she said clapping her hands together excitedly, “this is what I will do then.” “I will quickly do down to the dental surgery and change into something more suitable for a full examination, as I insist on wearing proper medical attire at all times.” “Your timing is actually perfect since the offices are now closed, we can take our time. I will prepare a few things for your full dental examinations, if you can please wait here and come down in 20 minutes.”

“When you do please ring the surgery bell so that I know you’re waiting so I can come and get you.” With those last words

Judy Preston stood up and disappeared down the stairs in a final flash of stockinged legs. Veronica sat alone felling a mix of emotions, both nervous about Judy examining her teeth and excited to see what medical attire change “Dental Nurse Judy” would be wearing.
