When Callie left Doctor Michael's exam room, she went straight to reception with a view to picking up the rectal thermometer he had requested she get. Hannah, the same receptionist who had checked her in was sat behind the desk. She smiled warmly as Callie approached.

"How was your first consultation with Keiran?"

"Ooh, err good I guess. A bit embarrassing but then I expected that. He has asked me to pick up a rectal thermometer kit from you" The receptionist nodded knowingly and handed Callie a small zip locked bag containing a note book, an information sheet and the dreaded thermometer.

"Yes, he had me do the same."

"Wait.... So you were one of his patients too? But you look so...." She paused "so glamorous and sure of yourself" Hannah laughed.

"Thank you.. but I wasn't always. Keiran changed me, he gave me the confidence I have now.. Listen, I finish in half an hour. Would you like to meet for a drink tonight? It can get a little lonely when you come here by yourself. Or the leisure suite if you fancy a swim? I usually go after work.. Only if you want to of course, no pressure"

"No, I'd love that, the pool sounds a great idea. I could do with a dip and we could have a drink and a bite to eat afterwards if you'd like"

At 5PM Callie headed over to the leisure suite and met Hannah in the reception area. It wasn't long before they were swimming lengths in the pool.

Callie thought Hannah looked stunning in her red halter neck swimming costume and she wished that she too had the confidence to wear something so bold. Hannah had a beautiful curvy figure that was accentuated by the cut out design that left Hannah's hips and navel on display.

After several lengths, the ladies headed for the sauna. They sat on the wooden slatted bench relaxing in the dry heat and chatting as the heady smell of pine and menthol filled their lungs and cleansed their skin.

"I wasn't thrilled with the idea of taking my temperature rectally" Callie confided. Hannah laughed.

"Oh me too! Keiran was relentless though, every session started with him poking my bottom until I admitted that I liked it. He's a brilliant doctor though. Everything he does has a genuine medical reason, even if you think it's really horrible"

"But surely not taking your temperature? What does that have to do with your sex drive?"

" Oh no, it does! I was in a state. I hated sex. I was dry and either it hurt, or I felt nothing. Doctor Michaels is very big on the Broda Barnes temperature method for helping to highlight any thyroid issues that might be messing with your sex hormones... In fact, it's how he diagnosed my problem. I have an underactive thyroid so I take thyroxine now and that's why I'm a changed woman. I have energy and I lost three stone in weight"

This was fascinating to Callie and she felt renewed faith in what the doctor might do for her. She listened carefully as Hannah continued to tell her story.

"...You see, one blood test doesn't show what your thyroid might be doing day to day and who wants a daily blood test? The rectal temperature was embarrassing at first but I'd take a poke up the butt anytime over daily needle sticks! Except, if he appeared with his rectal thermometer right now, he'd get the wrong measurement. My arse is absolutely on fire. I think we should go and cool off..."

Callie hadn't laughed so much in a long time. There were other ladies sharing the leisure suite and before long, there were six of them chatting and laughing in the hot tub, all of them sharing their stories.

Callie heard how Hannah had been so impressed by doctor Keiran's treatment of her, it had inspired the idea to start the sexual pleasure retreat! The business was jointly owned by both Hannah and Keiran. Both had a shared goal of helping as many people as possible. Currently, the retreat focused on only women's sexual health and fulfilment but a future goal was to open another venue and extend their services, offering treatment for men too.

Callie couldn't wait for tomorrow. She wondered what the doctor would do next.
