The nurse ushered the salesman out of the examination room. As she did so we got a brief view of Beth getting down off the examination couch and as the doctor looked on before the door slammed shut. The waiting room was in a stunned silence as we heard Beth politely but firmly berating the doctor for letting the salesman into her examination.
