A Tale of Woe, Part 1

A dark-erotic psychological melodrama. Part of a longer series I'm working on.

Claire, a Human Resources worker, makes a mistake at work that ends up getting her sent to a mental hospital for evaluation. She assumes this will all be straightened out quickly. She assumes they will listen to her. She assumes that a Doctor, in this place, will be able to see what is going on and fix it.

But this is not just any hospital - this is the State Hospital for Women. A venerable (crumbling) institution with a long history of keeping patients as long as it wants them.

It's increasingly obvious that Claire is clearly going to be here for a long time. And the Doctor, as we'll see, is taking a bit too much personal interest in her. No one on the outside seems to be able to help her get out. Her only hope for survival is her fellow patients, particularly her roommate, Myst.
