Mr B’s Calling

At the age of 18 Mr B felt a passionate desire to become a pastor in his community. Raised in a loving home he had gone to church on Sunday. Getting more involved as he got older.

He applied for a position in an elite program through a prestigious college affiliated with his church and was not only selected for the program— he was awarded a full scholarship! What a dream come true!

There were some waivers enclosed about privacy and routine checkups, rigorous training, and no contact with anyone outside the college for the first 90 days. It went on to explain this is for acclimation to the campus, the culture, and the curriculum. He skimmed the details assuming he got the gist of how a physical goes. He signed the forms, placed them in the return envelope, dropped them in the mailbox, and that was that.
