Ben’s Turn

This is a companion story to “My Memorable Fever”, beginning at the end of its Chapter 9.

Luke’s neighbor and best friend Ben has also fallen ill and is initially taken care of by his older sister Katie while their parents are away. Katie has asked Luke’s 18-year-old twin sister Liz to look in on him after lunch while she’s out on errands.

The story, which focuses a bit more on the psychology of the caregivers, uses characters from “My Memorable Fever”. Feel free to read (or re-read!) that in order to better understand the context.
